That means the Owls Nest has been in the guide for 7 years on the bounce! We are also celebrating being East Dorset CAMRA’s rural pub of the year – if you enjoy fine real ale the Owls Nest is one of the best pubs around!

Beer Festival (aka Pie and Ale Festival) 2018 dates
All our friends and local beer lovers will be delighted to hear that there will be another Pie and Ale Festival in 2018. The dates will be
Friday 26, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January 2018.
The beer festival will run from Friday lunchtime until Sunday night and there will be live music on Saturday night and Sunday evening. We hope that you will want to come and chase away the post Christmas and New Year blues … by trying lots of lovely real ale and our famous homemade pies.

We’re hugely looking forward to two big nights of live music here at The Owls Nest. We’ve lined up two exciting acts which will blow your mind away!
Saturday 14th October : Totog – an evening of Rock, Pop, Funk and Motown

Saturday 28th October : Jo Carley and The Old Dry Skulls – Throwing old time, alt country and punk into a backwoods still to make musical moonshine.
We are delighted that The Old Dry Skulls will be making a welcome return to The Owls Nest with their unique genre-bending music. This is absolutely not one to be missed – it will be a Hallowe’en party like no other!

Saturday 15th July : Freeborn Brothers, from 9.00pm. Billed as ‘gypsy, hobo, trash grass’ from Poland – what’s not to like?

Sat 29th July : Moonshine Wagon, from 9.00pm. Another international band coming to Parley – to play ‘bluegrass acoustic punk’. More madness at the Owls Nest!
